THE BIONIC BANNOCK BOYS

Born out of the first Crow Hop back in 2000, this rag tag bunch of comedians have honed their craft to the delight of audiences across North America and into Europe. It was designed to confront and breakdown Aboriginal stereotypes through comedy, by blowing the perceptions ridiculously out of proportion. Every BBB show is a unique experience and no two shows are the same, when an audience comes to a show, it is based on the comedic accolades of the boys as a pose to their content, which is equally entertaining. In 2002 their underground film classic A Man Called Horst screened in Berlin, to the delight of the German & International filmmaking masses.

The Bionic Bannock Boys were featured in a documentary/reality show with CBC that documented their entire process of writing and creativity. Strengthened by a twist, the BBB had to audition and hire a new member by means of elimination. Along with the documentary/reality show, the BBB have finished their first full-length comedy CD, spoof clothing line and a constant barrage of new material for stage, film, television and radio.

Keon Francis...

Keon Francis The drill sergeant of the BBB, Keon is a professional advertising consultant. When he is not smooth talking his clients, he can be found sipping java, grinning with his golden idea of comedic genius. Keon, the biggest WINDIAN of all time, often says "I'm Metis - All the discrimination, none of the benefits!"

Keon is not only ex-military, but also a professional actor and brilliant writer. On top of his painting skills, Keon brings his improvisational talents to the circle for a complete round of Aboriginal hilarity and comedic invention. Keon Says he is "Metis, all the discrimination, none of the benefits."

Cory Generoux...

Cory Generoux Cory is an award winning professional filmmaker and producer with an eternal gamma flare for creativity. When he is not writing, producing, travelling or filming, Cory can be found in Blockbuster discussing comedic approaches with himself or listening to audio CD's on the highway in some far off municipality!

As a professional writer and machine-like producer of ideas. Cory is a professional filmmaker/producer who is coming out of a break from an extensive three year tour with an award winning theatre troupe. Bringing wisdom and talent to an already strong circle.

Sean Dean...

Sean Dean As the token white guy of the group, Sean brings an exceptional bag of tricks, incredible talent and a never before seen dynamic in Native comedy that opens a rather large door of creativity for the Triple-B. He has managed to carve a name out for himself - Strong Tree that is sure to tickle the funny bone when you find out HOW he got it!

Sean is a professional copyrighter, audio producer and generally the man with a billion-thirteen voices. On sunny days, Sean can be found chasing his tail while working up an unquenchable thirst for laughter and creativity. He brings "balance" and "color" to the Triple-B unlike any other!

Dr. Neal McLeod...

The lead Bionic Bannock Boy and co-creator, Dr. Neal McLeod is a widely respected painter, artist, poet, writer, professor and academic with an insatiable passion to entertain. Dr. McLeod is often found manically laughing to himself while painting his next masterpiece AND writing his next best seller.

The mastermind behind the Bionic Bannock Boys, and award winning author, Dr. McLeod brings his unrivaled wit to the circle balancing everyones talents.
